11/01/16- in our first lesson we looked at what our coursework was, were given a booklet to help us throughout our coursework and looked at the work of previous students

12/01/16- we started using the Serif Draw Plus software, playing around with the tools and were told what our preliminary task was

14/01/16- I started the preliminary school magazine front cover

15/01/16- I started the preliminary school magazine contents page
18/01/16- I finished the preliminary magazine and exported into my documents as an image and uploaded the preliminary task onto my blog

19/01/16- I started on answering my evaluation questions

21/01/16- I finished my evaluation questions

22/01/16- uploaded the preliminary task evaluation questions onto my blog and set myself homework to research existing music magazines

25/01/16- researched existing magazines online and looked at how to analyse them and set myself the homework to buy two music magazines over the weekend so I could analyse them

26/01/16- started writing questions for my questionnaire

28/01/16- analysed my 'Q' magazine front cover and contents page 

29/01/16-analyzed my 'Q' magazine double page spread and uploaded analysis onto blog 

01/02/16- finished writing questions for my questionnaire, got 10 people to complete the questionnaire 

02/02/16- started the analysis of my 'NME' magazine front cover and contents page 

03/02/16- started the analysis of my questionnaire results

04/02/16- completed analysis of my 'NME' magazine (front cover, contents and double page spread)

05/02/16- uploaded analysis of my two magazines onto my blog in one post, also uploaded my finished questionnaire and analysis of the results 

06/02/16- started on the product placement section over the weekend

08/02/16- finished my product placement section in first half of lesson and started on Prezi PowerPoint for planning 

09/02/16- completed 'names' and 'fonts' section of planning

11/02/16- started word document on 'how my research will help my planning' 

12/02/16- created mood/ inspiration boards on indie artists and magazine covers

13/02/16-21/02/16(half term)- completed 'colour scheme' and 'articles' section of planning on Prezi, completed mood/ inspiration boards post and uploaded it to my blog

22/02/16- uploaded my product placement post and completed my Prezi PowerPoint on planning and uploaded onto my blog

23/02/16- uploaded my 'how will my research help my planning' post

25/02/16- re-organized my blog so that all the posts are in the right order, with clear titles and labels so that my blog is easy to navigate for my teachers and the moderators

26/02/16- researched different styles of images I could take for my magazine and set a date to take them with my 'artist'

29/02/16- added more detail to my progress report and got it up to date and started on my post for images I will use in my magazine

01/03/16- booked a photography studio to take photos for my magazine, I will take a range so I can compare them and make a better decision when I start my drafts

03/03/16- started on my first draft of my front cover

04/03/16- took my photos for my magazine in a photography studio today with my 'model'
05/03/16- edited my photos to have a cleaner, more professional look and experimented with filters and my colour scheming. 

07/03/16- uploaded posts on 'image inspiration' and my 'final images'

08/03/16- finished the first draft of my front cover and started on my contents page

10/03/16- finished my contents page and completed the double page spread draft in my sixth period

11/03/16- uploaded my finished first draft of front cover, contents page and double page spread
12/03/16- started on my second draft for my front cover

14/03/16- finished the second draft for my front cover and started my contents page 2nd draft

15/03/16- finished 2nd draft for my front cover, contents page and double page spread

17/03/16- completed 3rd draft for my front cover

18/03/16- reviewed my magazine analysis from 'research' section as I began to realise that I hadn't analysed in enough depth, I then edited my analysis a updated my post on my blog
21/03/16- started 3rd draft contents page

22/03/16-27/03/16- on school history trip to New York so unable to complete any work in first week of Easter holidays
28/03/16-11/04/16- I completed and upload 3rd draft front cover, contents page and double page spread and began to look at the evaluation questions
12/04/16- I decided on the questions I will ask in my interview on my double page spread and uploaded a post about it on to my blog
14/04/16- started on fourth draft of front cover
15/04/16- looked at the evaluation questions and how to present the answers
18/04/16- briefly planned my answers for the evaluation questions and started trying to decide what format I would present each answer in
19/04/16- uploaded my plan as to how I am going to answer my evaluation questions
21/04/16- started on contents page of fourth draft
22/04/16- started on double page spread of fourth draft
23/04/16- answered 1st and 2nd evaluation questions
24/04/16- got feedback on 4th draft pages, made changes and final touches to each of the pages
25/04/16- answered 3rd and 6th questions for evaluation
26/04/16- uploaded my final draft of my cover, contents and double page spread
28/04/16- started 4th and 5th evaluation question
29/04/16- finished my 7th evaluation question and uploaded completed evaluation questions onto blog and then I wrote my Note to Moderator post and uploaded it
