Dear Moderator,
The brief for my AS Media coursework was to create a Front Cover, Contents Page and Double Page Spread for a new music magazine. I chose to do my music magazine for the indie music genre due to this being a genre I enjoy myself but also that it is becoming increasingly popular and therefore there is a greater demand for media products in this genre and a gap in the market for an indie music magazine.

In order for me to have a wide enough audience for there to always
be a demand for my product I chose the target audience of males and females
aged 14-17. I have been able to work well to create a magazine to suit this
audience as I fall into the category I am targeting and I can consult my peers
and get feedback from my target audience very easily.
